IS WATER GOOD FOR YOU?
Most would answer “Well of course, it is”. Yet, water can be very toxic - learn why. (click here to learn more)
Whether it be fats, grains, sugars, proteins, supplements or water, it is only good for you if it meets certain criterion. In today’s world, we even need to learn about our water and here is why.
Water should have a pH of at least 8; with a molecular structure between 3-6. This is necessary so that the water doesn’t carry contaminants and toxins AND so that it can cross the cellular membrane. Otherwise, the water can carry a huge number of toxins and simply puts more stress on the liver (to detox) and the kidneys (to eliminate).
If you have been watching all the articles on the internet over the past several years you will know how toxic floride and chloride are to our systems and the problems they can cause not just with your teeth but with every system in your body.
In addition, an environmental group analyzed 170 different varieties of bottled water and found the following:
20% of the companies would not answer where the water came from
32% of the companies would not disclose information on any water treatment or purity of water
18% of the companies do not tell you where the water is from
Another independent test performed by the Environmental Working Group in 2009 revealed 38 low-level contaminants in bottled water, with each of ten tested brands containing an average of eight chemicals, including:
DBPs (disinfetn byproducts) Industrial Chemicals Caffeine Bacteria
Tylenol Nitrate Arsenic
Plastics in the water bottles found to contain a variety of harmful chemicals that can leach out in the water, such as:
Cancer–causing PFOAs PBDEs (flame retardant chemicals that effect reproductive & thyroid issues
Reproductive toxins (phthalates) BPAs (interfere with the endocrine systems, ie., estroges)
In addition, it was established a few years ago that the initial book published in the 1960s claiming that we should drink 8 cups of water per day – was never based on anything scientific. It was one person’s idea. Subsequent to that time – it was presented as a scientific fact. FALSE!!! Yes, we do need water but take a minute to think: we are supposed to be 78-82% water – what percentage of water do you think is in fruits and vegetables. Further, there has never been a culture/civilization throughout history that was so focused on water.
