Weight Loss Controversy Series – 4: How to determine a good program
Okay, so now that we have looked at : the theories, the questions to ask yourself; how to prepare for Christmas ; how do we decide on a good program
Number one issues when looking for a good program is to ask yourself - what is it you really want out of it:
- 1) short term weight loss regardless of the long term results
- 2) financial gain regardless of the health detriments
- 3) truly good health
If you answered yes to one or two – then you won’t be interested in this article because it focuses on number 3.
There are a number of MLM products and programs that you can financially benefit from as well, even if you chose number three. Let’s look at what you want to achieve.
1) most scientists now agree that starting off the day with a good protein shake helps significantly:
- - you want a organic protein shake
- - you want a protein shake that has not been pasteurized, as pasteurization denatures (makes them ineffective) the very nutrients you need
- - you want a good protein shake that has the full range of amino acids
i. two good examples that meet these criterion are: Xocai and Qivana
2) you want a program that has a good source of magnesium
- - magnesium is required for over 300 known enzyme processes in every cell of the body
- - magnesium is good for regulating the bowels – you will know if you have enough if your bowels start becoming very loose
- - but a good gut system will help you eliminate the toxins better and absorb the nutrients more effectively
i. Xocai chocolate is the number one source of magnesium
3) you want a program that balances/regulates your leptin & grehlin hormones
- Xocai is excellent for that
4) you want a program that is high in anti-oxidants
- - people who have weight issues tend to be acidic and have low levels of anti-oxidants
- - now the challenge with anti-oxidants is that there are sooooo many – some have estimated that there are over 18,000 known anti-oxidants
- - anti-oxidants can do a wide range of functions besides eliminating free radicals, depending on the anti-oxidant
- - exogenous (from food & supplements) anti-oxidants can only be effective on a 1 to 1 basis – but we have endogenous anti-oxidants ( these are the anti-oxidants that the body produces) and they have a 1 to 1,000,000 impact, ie., glutathione
- - further, the master endogenous anti-oxidant, glutathione, has an impact on almost every function in the cell and thus in the body
- soooo, you want an excellent exogenous anti-oxidant but you also want a program that provokes the production of internal anti-oxidants, i.e., glutathione – which is not only the body’s most effective anti-oxidant but the most important anti-oxidant in every cell of the body
- a good way to achieve this is :
- i. Xocai chocolate is the number one source for external anti-oxidants – 3 pieces will give you 12 servings of fruit and vegetables a day – and its chocolate!!
- ii. Protandim – is a phenomenal 5 herb formulation, studied by over 25 universities, and shown to turn on the genes to make your natural: anti-inflammatories, anti-fibrosis and anti-oxidants – Protandim will increase the master anti-oxidant 300% within one month
- iii. MAX GXL will increase your master anti-oxidant, on average, 276% within two months by providing the cells with the “pancake mix” to make the glutathione
iv. I suggest to people to take the protandim for one month – then alternate between protandim and MAX GXL through out the week and take Sunday off – cheaper and I think far more effective
5) you want a program that not only enhances metabolic processes but resets the metabolism for good:
- a good product that does this is Qivana
6) you want a program that supports adrenal and thyroid functioning – the use of various herbal adaptogens (help the body deal with and recover from stress more effectively) that support the adrenal and the thyroid – so that they work effectively and efficiently
- a good product for this is Qivana with its incorporation of the GP – Gynostemma pentaphyllum – also known as : immortal grass; miracle grass, crown herb. This herb has an unparalleled composition that makes it the royal choice for adaptogens
7) you want a program that has the right balance of amino acids to support and strengthen muscle metabolism
- Qivana is the only program I am aware of that does that
