The medical profession is getting more and more hits against it. It is really sad for those who are truly wanting to help people. But between the immense amount of fraudulent data, research, clinical studies (claimed studies that were not even done!!) Big Pharma is a huge part of the problem. 99% of pharmaceutical drugs deplete the body of nutrients; 48% of the 250 most commonly prescribed drugs cause cancer; most drugs have huge side effects from weight gain to acidosis; anti-depressants that actually cause suicidal thinking/behaving; and the list goes on.
Can MDs be held accountable for believing the scripts that the Big Pharma reps give them? For not having time to read their own journals, never mind other journals that are NOT controlled by Big Pharma?
But lately, the axe has been coming down on the MDs themselves. Last year at stat came out for Canada, that more than 72% of diagnosis made in the Emergency Room are WRONG!! But we also have more and more admitting to false diagnoses – and not just minor stuff, but big stuff like Cancer!!! (http://www.justice.gov/usao-edmi/us-v-farid-fata-court-docket-13-cr-20600) Just one MD/oncologist who was responsible for over 1200 people and received $62 million from Medicare (billed for more than $150 million).

Of course, we have already heard alot about how mammograms do more harm than good (http://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa1206809) and of course, the same goes for prostate exams (http://www.uptodate.com/contents/screening-for-prostate-cancer) both of which have been given a D rating by the FDA for the last few years.
On the other hand, we can all do our research and be both responsible and informed about our health and our options.
The challenge is: if you go to the medical sites – you are taught that there is no research/data/clinical studies/proof for REAL medicine – that it is all quackery. If you go to the REAL medicine sites and look at the research for real foods and real herbs, etc; you learn about how misguided, uninformed, decades behind the actual science, MDs are. So who do you believe?
It is your body; your health; your responsibility. You have the choice to look at both sides of the fence and chose what you believe is the best option for you. What risks you are willing to take; whether you think diet is sufficient; if supplements/tinctures/etc are needed; if you would rather take a synthetic pill and not to have to deal with anything else; whether you are more interested in putting a bandage on the symptoms or if you want to put in the time and effort to identify and resolve the underlying issues. Your body; your life; your choice. Thankfully we all have choices.
Here’s to your health!
