You have heard over and over that you need more fiber…but did you know that there are different types of fiber?  That different types of fiber are utilized differently in the body?

Soluble fiber is really important in diabetes…it regulates the blood glucose uptake in the liver — important long before the insulin gets involved in the game.

Whereas insoluble fiber is great for regulating your bowel movements and their “transit” through the colon.

Did you know that there is an 82% correlation between bowel problems and depression?  Your gut is not only important from a digestive perspective BUT there is a strong correlation between the health  and efficiency of your gut and the rest of your body!!

In addition, it is important to make sure you are getting organic and wild crafted foods that are not bringing all kinds of toxic chemicals into your gut and blood system.  In addition, make sure you are not eating GMO foods – we don’t even know the extent of damage that these artificially distorted foods can cause.
